From an early age I was interested in the functioning of body and mind and the connection between the two. I started practicing martial arts early on and was fascinated by the physical and mental strength it gives you.

My childhood dream was to join the elite army. I followed my dream and after a solid training I finally served for 6 years with the 3rd parachute battalion in Tielen. Now, when I reflect back on my life, these were interesting times in correlation with the power of the unconscious processes that engulfed me during that period.

My inner research process gained momentum about fifteen years ago during my explorations to the East. I came into contact with Buddhism, Indian philosophies and yoga and followed lessons with various mystical teachers and Thai forest monks. In 2009 I completed my yoga teacher training in Mysore (India), where I still go every year to continue my studies.

However, something was missing for me in Eastern wisdom and that is how I came into contact with the works of the famous psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung in 2012. After reading many books from his richly filled oeuvre, something clicked inside me. Everyday being human is central to Jung, an association of the unconscious and conscious, the path of individuation. Jung also refers to it as "becoming who you always were". I decided to follow the 4-year course of Analytical Therapist at the Jungian Institute for Depth Psychology in Nijmegen and I successfully completed it in June 2019.
In addition, I have also invested heavily in many training courses on Self-development and coaching. My graduation thesis was about the road to the Self with Patanjali and Jung, 2 different paths that lead to Self-discovery, an Eastern and a Western vision.

For me, every person is unique and everyone has their own blueprint, their own essence. I experience this every day when I see my children grow up. I find it fascinating to work with people and discover together what drives them in life, but also to investigate the blockages where people get stuck. This is why you can come to me for analytic therapy and mental coaching.

I enjoy sports, practice yoga regularly, enjoy outdoor physical work, have a passion for travel and enjoy spending time with my family by the sea. Finally, reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I like to immerse myself in the Eastern and Western philosophical thought of CGJung, S. Freud, H. Rump, J. Hillman, J. Campbell, C. Rogers, F. Nietzche, A. Schoppenhauer, Spinoza, JWGoethe, I -Tsing, K. Wilber, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and numerous other writings.

Motivatiecoaching:
Create a Champion’s mindset.

Mental motivation coaching is a form of personal guidance where the focus is on your thoughts and mindset. Mental strength plays a more important role in this form of coaching than physical strength.

With a past as a professional soldier, top athlete, independent entrepreneur, I work with techniques of analytical coaching, behavioral therapy, visualization techniques, hypnotherapy, sports psychology and is result-oriented.

VDK Therapy

Analytical therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which the analysis of the unconscious is central. Attention is therefore mainly focused on the content of your unconscious, because it has been shown that more than 90% of human behavior is driven by that unconscious.

This process of self-development is the process by which an individual integrates many aspects of the psyche to become himself. Light and dark, each of these powers should be honored. It is a process where a person becomes aware of his uniqueness, of what distinguishes him from the collectivity. This is called the individuation process.

This method was developed by C.G Jung and other psychoanalysts
